Blakie Sahay (she/her) BA, BscOT., MEd., is an occupational therapist, psychotherapist, and mindfulness facilitator. She holds certifications in Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and various trauma-informed certifications. At the Centre for Mindfulness Studies (Toronto, Canada), Blakie facilitates mindfulness-based group programs for mental health, develops course curriculums and delivers professional development programs and mentors new mindfulness facilitators-in-training. She also provides tailored mindfulness-based workshops for various organizations and businesses from community-based groups to universities and large corporations. Blakie has a private occupational therapy practice working with veterans with mental health, trauma and/or addictions challenges. She is also a certified yoga teacher and is currently a student in a 2-year Community Dharma Teacher Training with True North Insight. Blakie sits on the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee at the Centre for Mindfulness Studies.
